This is an educational, community-oriented, and family-friendly event for all!

Maine Craft Weekend is produced by the Maine Crafts Association, in partnership with Maine Made.

WHAT IS THE MAINE CRAFTS ASSOCIATION?

The Maine Crafts Association sustains and celebrates craft as a cornerstone of Maine’s culture and economy.

Founded in 1983, MCA is a nonprofit organization that supports craft artists with professional development and educational programming, statewide events, storytelling and marketing initiatives that amplify artists’ voices, and resources designed to strengthen studio practices and creative businesses.

We serve a diverse and growing network of Maine makers by fostering connection, increasing visibility, and creating opportunities for artists to engage with the public and one another. Through this work, MCA contributes to a more resilient and inclusive craft ecosystem across the state.

Our goal is to ensure that craft in Maine continues to thrive, supported by sustainable studio practices, strong creative businesses, and an engaged community that values handmade work.
