The Harlow is pleased to partner with the Maine Crafts Association to bring their online collection of Maine lighting to life! In April 2021 the MCA created "The Light at the End of the Tunnel" a sourcing and informational online guide for Maine made lighting. The Harlow will illuminate this collection further by mounting an exhibition of lights, lighting, lamps and related works from the MCA members included in the guide.

Join us at the Majestic Craft Store in Gardiner for Maine Craft Weekend for an indoor and outdoor craft show at our 26 Winter Street Location in Gardiner. We will have over 50 crafters booths inside and another 30 live crafters outside in our front parking lot. Start your holiday shopping early with handmade items from local crafters. We also have a repurposed furniture showroom in our store for second hand items. Saturday October 2nd and Sunday October 3rd from 9:00am to 3:00pm. Autumn creates luminous porcelain vessels with a truth to function. Soft, translucent glazes enhance the clean elegance of form while highlighting details of surface embellishment.

Local artist and owner Paola Buentello of El Oso Taqueria displays her paintings inside one of Gardiner's newest restaurants. Offering authentic Mexican dishes for dining in or take out, El Oso also celebrates local artists and crafters and from many regions with a gift shop and gallery. Stop in to see the art on display, and enjoy a signature street taco and fresh, homemade aguas. Open Saturday, October 2 from 11am-8pm and Sunday from 11am until sold out.
DYAD: Jewelry artist Shelby Goldsmith and ceramicist Heather Stewart Harvey present work that renders states of harmony and tension in paired forms. A rumination on how things fit together and pull apart, the work brings emotive states into material being.
Weather permitting most, if not all, of this exhibition will be held outside. Saturday October 2nd 11-4, Sunday October 3rd 11-4.
