Dyad: Paired forms in jewelry by Shelby Goldsmith and in ceramics by Heather Stewart Harvey

DYAD: Jewelry artist Shelby Goldsmith and ceramicist Heather Stewart Harvey present work that renders states of harmony and tension in paired forms. A rumination on how things fit together and pull apart, the work brings emotive states into material being.
Weather permitting most, if not all, of this exhibition, will be held outside. Saturday, October 2nd, 11-4, Sunday, October 3rd, 11-4.
Shelby Goldsmith is a metalsmith & jewelry artist, working from her home studio in Saco, ME. Her work is reflective of her interest in historical forms of sentimental & mourning jewelry. Heather Stewart Harvey is a studio potter living and working in Portland, Maine. Her work is hand-built and focuses on vessels and sculptural forms in unglazed, deeply textural clay bodies of her own composition.
