Each year on the first weekend in October, Visit Freeport brings together over 150 of the best New England artists, makers and local food producers for a three-day festival throughout Downtown Freeport.

Common Roots Studio Showcase

Common Roots Studio is a nature themed community oriented art working space and gallery. CRS features local Maine artists while promoting community building through the exploration of art. During this open studio you will get the chance to see works in progress and you can witness the magic of sculptures taking to the air, balancing and moving.
Additionally walk through the garden display and enjoy the artwork on the open porches. Dynamically moving sculptures need to be seen in person, no photo will give justice to the magic. Enjoy this chance of seeing mobiles in different sizes and materials as well as jewelry and belt buckles. I look forward to meeting you.
