Kids Story Time + Art with author/illustrator Lucky Platt

Join us/drop by the bookshop between 10:30-noon for stories, book talk and art activities for all ages. We’re hosting Maine artist and picture book author/illustrator Lucky Platt for our Saturday Story Time. Lucky’s debut picture book Imagine a Wolf (Page Street Kids 2021) was a 2022 Maine Literary Award Finalist, and she’ll be reading her book with you and sharing a bit about the craft of writing and illustrating. She’ll also be leading a couple of super fun book-related art activities. Without giving too much away, let’s just say that there will be wolves! Want to show your love for independent bookstores? Lucky will sign and personalize your copy of Imagine a Wolf, and we hear she has some amazing book goodies to give away, too.
