Autumn Seaweed Wreath & Autumn Moth Watercolor Workshop

Join us for a fun and creative session at the Kristin F. Simmons Studio! In this in-person event, you'll learn to paint a beautiful autumn seaweed wreath using watercolors. This event is part of Maine Craft Weekend.

Prior experience is optional, so whether you're a beginner or a seasoned artist, this workshop is for you!

We will guide you step-by-step, teaching you various techniques to create stunning watercolor effects. Get ready to immerse yourself in the vibrant colors of fall and let your creativity flow! All supplies, including paper, paints, brushes, and light snacks, are provided.

Masks + Vaccinations are highly suggested
All sales are final. An alternate date or class option will be offered in inclement weather.
All skill levels are welcome. All people are welcome.
All guests will leave with a final 11x16 Autumn wreath or Autumn Moth watercolor

Introduction to Watercolors ~ Learn to Paint Beachstones + Seaglass

Kristin F Simmons Studio 103 Whitten Hill Road, Kennebunkport, ME

Join us as we create a beautiful composition of beach stones and sea glass in our Maine Craft Weekend Watercolor Class. This class is perfect for both beginner and experienced watercolor artists.

We will review paper types and brush techniques, wet-on-dry and wet-on-wet techniques, color matching, and composition. Each participant will leave with at least ONE finished 12x16 watercolor painting.

What is included:

Step-by-step instructions
2 Sheets, 12x16 100% Cotton Cold Press Watercolor Paper for your finished pieces
Practice paper
Coffee, Water, Tea + Light Snacks
Please note: All art supplies will be on-hand to create your paintings. Brushes, paints, water containers, cloths, and paper towels will be available for your use and are the property of the Artist.

You are welcome to bring any supplies you like to use. You will also be provided with shopping lists and links to purchase supplies after the class is complete if you want to continue your watercolor practice.
