Come see how we make paper and lampshades, and view the work from British world-class linocut artist and shipwright James Dodds.  Hillary Hutton and her husband Mark will be here ‘in spirit’ through the presentation of their hand-crafted rugs and lamp bases. Bring a lamp that needs a new shade! The amazing artist Lou Charlett will also be making an appearance, and if you miss him, his work is well represented in the gallery.

Together they bring you PrintCraft, a working print shop and retail space offering fine art prints, printed matter, and hand-bound and printed stationery items. Lisa and Martha will be on hand during Maine Craft Weekend 2019 to provide tours of the space and equipment, and offer information on the processes involved in their work.

Open Studio & Pop-Up Shop
HOURS: Friday – Sunday, 10 – 6pm
Start your Open Studio experience with a tour of the house featured in Down East Magazine, February 2016  with the gardens dubbed “The Western Maine Botanical Garden”. Unless, of course, you are most interested in getting your hands dirty/sticky/painted, in which case you can head right to the studio and play art with Meredith and Judy.

Anywhere along your way through the enclave—house and cabin—where both artists live and work, you will find the Pop-Up Shop full of art treasures; some have fixed prices, some are priced “as you wish”—have fun finding your price!

Expect to be surprised and delighted by the abstract art you will see. You will find paintings large and small; hand-knit heirloom quality Christmas Stockings, mittens and hats; paper sculpture houses; the 2020 Homage to a Calendar; gift tags; artist journals and lots more.
