Stone Broke Bread & Books 347 Water Street, Gardiner 04345, ME

Musician and ceramicist Dan Usher will be showing lovely pottery pieces -- he says that he lets the clay and the glazes organically make their own decisions resulting in living works. He'll accompany the collection with atmospheric guitar stylings or come and sit in to play music with him. Small cups for herbal tea, espresso, or a Moroccan wine tray -- beautiful bowls to fit right in the palms, lobster claw ornaments, and specialty shapes like earthy creamers, mugs, and canisters. Noon-6pm Sat, noon-4pm Sun.
