Join Bobbie in her studio for a weaving demonstration, shopping and breathtaking views of the St. George River. Bobbie is a tapestry weaver who blurs the boundaries between weaving and sculpture. Her merino wool wall hangings boast bold colors and abstract forms. While in the studio, shop from a selection of looms, fibers and wall hangings...or sign up for a workshop! The studio will be open Saturday, October 1 from 10:00 to 2:00 and by appointment on Sunday.

Joseph (potter) and I ((weaver) welcome you to our beautiful setting in the woods of Liberty where we live and produce our work. Our studio is a visual treasure trove waiting for you to explore. Additionally, I will have my tapestry loom set up on which I continue my work on the "Water and Wave" series of pictorial weavings. Weaver Sara Hotchkiss and felter Wayne Myers open their studio and showroom, showing work for sale and to admire. Demos include their weaving, felting, and yarn dyeing processes. Sara weaves rugs and home items on her looms including 10' and 12' Swedish rug looms and upright tapestry looms. Wayne creates beautiful wearable nuno felted shawls from silk saris and wool fleece.

Visit fiber sculptor Kimberley Harding in her studio and learn about her process of creating works with found objects, foraged fibers, natural fibers and other materials. She'll be demonstrating weaving in 3D throughout the day. Sculptures, jewelry and ornaments will be available for sale.
