Autumn Cipala Ceramics with guest Jackie Haines Jewelry

Autumn Cipala Studio 15 Ross Ave, Thomaston

Autumn Cipala Ceramics with guest Jackie Haines Jewelry, Oct. 5, 10-4 & October 6, 11-3

Autumn Cipala and guest artist Jackie Haines invite you to an Open Studio & Pop-Up Shop on Saturday, October 5, 10:00–4:00, and Sunday, October 6, 11-3 at 15 Ross Ave, Thomaston Maine. The doors to Autumn’s Pottery Studio will be open with handmade works by both artists on display and available for purchase.

Autumn Cipala creates luminous porcelain vessels with a truth to function. Soft, translucent glazes enhance the clean elegance of form and highlight fine details and surface embellishment.

She is honored to be the 2024 Maine Artist Fellow in Fine Craft, an award presented by the Maine Arts Commission. Autumn holds an MFA from University of Nebraska–Lincoln, and a BFA from the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University. Her work is exhibited nationally & internationally.

Jackie Haines will be visiting from her Lamoine studio with mixed metal wearable treasures. Her jewelry is made with gold, silver, and beautiful gemstones. Haines uses sustainable practices, recycled metals, and carefully selected ethically sourced stones. She finds inspiration everywhere, whether from an insect in her garden or a sunset from a mountaintop.

The artists invite you to see their newest artwork, shop for one-of-a-kind pieces, and talk about the inspirations, processes, and techniques used to create each piece by hand.
