The Penquis Valley HS craft fair is a fundraiser event featuring handcrafted craft artisans to support student activities including supplies for the annual Day of Service when students & staff give back to the community.

The showroom is located at our home base of operations in Newcastle, easy to find and just a few miles from downtown Damariscotta. Join Bobbie in her studio for a weaving demonstration, shopping and breathtaking views of the St. George River. Bobbie is a tapestry weaver who blurs the boundaries between weaving and sculpture. Her merino wool wall hangings boast bold colors and abstract forms. While in the studio, shop from a selection of looms, fibers and wall hangings...or sign up for a workshop! The studio will be open Saturday, October 1 from 10:00 to 2:00 and by appointment on Sunday.

Join us for our annual Open House & Art Market. We will be set up on Saturday and Sunday with 4 of our fellow local artists. Shop our stained glass designs as well as candles, vehicle-inspired art, etched glasses, and Adirondack furniture made with skis. Fall is a great time to drive the Grafton Notch Scenic Byway, stop in for a tasty treat and shop local while you leaf peep. Saturday 10-4pm, Sunday 10-2pm.
Join us in the historic Percy & Small shipyard and meet our volunteer blacksmiths and woodcarvers and see them demonstrate their trades. Then swing by the Boatshop to take a look at the craft of traditional boatbuilding. Lunch is also available on site at the Sail Shed by Long Reach Kitchen & Catering.

Come to the great neighborhood of Kittery Foreside to visit The Red Door Pottery Studio historic building where Elaine Fuller has been making pots for 15 years. Her Studio Assistant Hilary Rousselle will offer clay work demos. Their unique pottery will be on display and for sale. Refreshments will be provided. The seconds sale will benefit the local food pantry.

Join Chaya at the Hidden Gem (located in the Counting House Mill) for a personal tour of her studio, peruse her jewelry designs, enjoy some demonstrations and admire the gorgeous view of downtown Biddeford. She loves to talk shop, jewelry design, tools, gemstones - anything about jewelry and metal! Shop her unique designs and enjoy some complimentary refreshments. The studio will be open Saturday and Sunday from 10am - 5pm.

No Repeats Fiberworks, Jo Eaton, will be demonstrating handspinning and crocheting of her one of a kind hats. You will have the opportunity to try your hand at spinning and crocheting as well. A wide variety of hats, from simple beanies, to very warm handspun to her designer landscape hats will be available. Patterns and yarns are available for some of the hats.
Tonya Gorman of 5Beads Handmade will be demonstrating jewelry making and you are invited to join in! For $15 you can make a pair of earrings (with Tonya’s help if you need it) that you can keep for yourself or give as a gift. Beads, paper discs, findings and tools will be available for you to create a one-of-a-kind pair of earrings.
