Visit Freeport’s 25th Annual Freeport Fall Festival

2024 is our 25th Anniversary!

Each year on the first weekend in October, Visit Freeport brings together over 200 of the best New England artists, makers and local food producers for a three-day festival throughout downtown Freeport!

In addition to browsing local art, join us at the Discovery Stage on the L.L.Bean campus and the Second Stage in the Mallard Parking lot for three days of live music. There are also plenty of free activities for kids from make ‘n take crafts, to scavenger hunts and more. Free parking and complimentary ADA-accessible shuttle makes visiting easy! And, thanks to our generous sponsors, it’s all FREE!

This family favorite event features over 50 makers from our talented community as well as food trucks, live music and more! This two-day festival is an excellent way to spend the weekend with your family. Come explore the farm, sample great local food and check out great items handmade by local Mainers!

Stone Broke Bread + Books presents Tourmaline Moose Ceramics Pop Up!

Stone Broke Bread & Books 347 Water Street, Gardiner

Musician and ceramicist Dan Usher will be showing lovely pottery pieces -- he says that he lets the clay and the glazes organically make their own decisions resulting in living works. He'll accompany the collection with atmospheric guitar stylings or come and sit in to play music with him. Small cups for herbal tea, espresso, or a Moroccan wine tray -- beautiful bowls to fit right in the palms, lobster claw ornaments, and specialty shapes like earthy creamers, mugs, and canisters. Noon-6pm Sat, noon-4pm Sun.

Join artisans from this region for the fourth annual Maker’s Market in front of the Historic Bath Custom House on Sunday, October 6th from 11-3 pm. Hand sewn leather bags, paintings, pottery, handwoven textiles, artisan soap, and more. Come enjoy the music and treats and get some early holiday shopping done. Afterward, stroll down to the waterfront park or enjoy a meal at one of the restaurants in town. Family and dog friendly!
