Each year on the first weekend in October, Visit Freeport brings together over 150 of the best New England artists, makers and local food producers for a three-day festival throughout Downtown Freeport.

Please note: While we hope that the 2021 Festival will be held with few modifications, we will be watching State of Maine and CDC recommendations closely and make any decisions about activities with public health as our number one concern.
Glass Paradox offers hand-painted functional and decorative artware; stemware, tabletop accessories, and Christmas ornaments. We are open annually on the second Saturday in December and this year during Maine Craft Weekend. There will be new designs, discontinued & discounted styles/designs, and a selection of one-of-a-kind artware to choose from. Off street parking is available though limited and on street parking is also available. We will be following CDC protocols and encourage you to be safe. We look forward to seeing you in October!
Located along Scenic Route 26 near Grafton Notch, our Open House makes a great stop while you are out leaf peeping. Stop in for a beverage & snack and get an early start on Christmas shopping. Open from 10am-2pm each day and featuring stained glass, vehicle inspired artwork, etched glassware, ski chairs, mosaics, paintings and candles.

We cannot wait to welcome everyone, safely, back into our makerspace with art for sale, studios and work space to explore, makers of fine craft and fine art to meet and talk with. Find beach stone jewelry, hand made ceramics, oil, watercolor and mixed media paintings, photography, printmaking, textiles, encaustics, digital art and so much more.

Watch Linda Perrin with her team of glass blowers create blown glass pumpkins right before your very eyes. Outside of the Atlantic Art Glass studio we will create a small glass pumpkin patch with many blown glass pumpkins displayed for sale on hay bales and rustic autumn shelves. the public will be allowed inside the studio to watch as molten glass is pulled from the furnace, blown and hand formed on the end of a blowpipe into the classic, fun pumpkin shape. As an added attraction, after 3pm you can visit Fogtown brewery right below the glass blowing studio where a safe and gorgeous beer garden is open to the public. This annual event will be implementing Maine CDC safety protocols.

In addition to work from 100 (amazingly talented) artists and small businesses based in Maine, "ewe" can enjoy crocheted silk and sterling jewelry from Bent Metal, deep grays and browns natural Merino wool yarn by Around the Well Farm, hand spun and knit Gotland wool cowls and hats by Shepherds Craft Farm, sewn rope baskets by TetherMade, Japanese linen aprons by Bowerbird Studios, and much more! We hope to see you at our restored barn to help celebrate craft in Maine!
Meet some of the artists at the Lighthouse Gallery. Jeff Longar will be demonstrating wood carving and wood boat half hull making at 11:00 a.m. and Lisa Oettinger will show how she makes her bead jewelry at 1:00 p.m. Demonstrations of Watercolor and Acrylic painting on furniture will take place throughout the day. Plus two local authors will be autographing and talking about their latest books: Roger Greene on his book about the Northern Maine Woods "In the Company of Trees" and Jane Harvey Meade on her book "Narrownook", based in Bucksport. Enjoy the work of 60 artists throughout the gallery!
