We’re excited to welcome you to Watershed’s beautiful campus for Maine Craft Weekend for a tour of our brand new Windgate Studio, a kiln opening and art sale, artist talks, and a collaborative exhibition with the Maine Craft Association at the Barkan Gallery.
Each year on the first weekend in October, Visit Freeport brings together over 150 of the best New England artists, makers and local food producers for a three-day festival throughout Downtown Freeport.
In addition to browsing local art, join us at the Discovery Stage on the L.L.Bean campus for three days of live music. And, thanks to our generous sponsors, it’s all FREE!

Please note: While we hope that the 2021 Festival will be held with few modifications, we will be watching State of Maine and CDC recommendations closely and make any decisions about activities with public health as our number one concern.
The Harlow is pleased to partner with the Maine Crafts Association to bring their online collection of Maine lighting to life! In April 2021 the MCA created "The Light at the End of the Tunnel" a sourcing and informational online guide for Maine made lighting. The Harlow will illuminate this collection further by mounting an exhibition of lights, lighting, lamps and related works from the MCA members included in the guide.

Join us at the Majestic Craft Store in Gardiner for Maine Craft Weekend for an indoor and outdoor craft show at our 26 Winter Street Location in Gardiner. We will have over 50 crafters booths inside and another 30 live crafters outside in our front parking lot. Start your holiday shopping early with handmade items from local crafters. We also have a repurposed furniture showroom in our store for second hand items. Saturday October 2nd and Sunday October 3rd from 9:00am to 3:00pm. We are located just before downtown Gardiner, diagonal to Family Dollar besides the white church on Winter Street.
Art studios and work space of over 75 artists will be open for the first time since March 2020! We cannot wait to welcome everyone, safely, back into our makerspace with art for sale, studios and work space to explore, makers of fine craft and fine art to meet and talk with. Find beach stone jewelry, hand made ceramics, oil, watercolor and mixed media paintings, photography, printmaking, textiles, encaustics, digital art and so much more.

Come visit Prescott Hill Studios in the sweet town of Liberty. Learn work is prepared and how a soda kiln is fired. Come in to the gallery and find lovely handmade one-of-a-kind and limited production pots and jewelry. The studio is near other wel-loved attractions: Lake St. George, John's Ice Cream Shop, Liberty Tool, Liberty Graphics and the Davistown Museum.

A 2-day showcase of soft goods to wrap our Summer season! Local artist and owner Paola Buentello of El Oso Taqueria displays her paintings inside one of Gardiner's newest restaurants. Offering authentic Mexican dishes for dining in or take out, El Oso also celebrates local artists and crafters and from many regions with a gift shop and gallery. Stop in to see the art on display, and enjoy a signature street taco and fresh, homemade aguas. Open Saturday, October 2 from 11am-8pm and Sunday from 11am until sold out.
DYAD: Jewelry artist Shelby Goldsmith and ceramicist Heather Stewart Harvey present work that renders states of harmony and tension in paired forms. A rumination on how things fit together and pull apart, the work brings emotive states into material being.
Weather permitting most, if not all, of this exhibition will be held outside. Saturday October 2nd 11-4, Sunday October 3rd 11-4.
