We’re excited to welcome you to Watershed’s beautiful campus for Maine Craft Weekend for a tour of our brand new Windgate Studio, a kiln opening and art sale, artist talks, and a collaborative exhibition with the Maine Craft Association at the Barkan Gallery.
Join us at the Majestic Craft Store in Gardiner for Maine Craft Weekend for an indoor and outdoor craft show at our 26 Winter Street Location in Gardiner. We will have over 50 crafters booths inside and another 30 live crafters outside in our front parking lot. Start your holiday shopping early with handmade items from local crafters. We also have a repurposed furniture showroom in our store for second hand items. Saturday October 2nd and Sunday October 3rd from 9:00am to 3:00pm. We are located just before downtown Gardiner, diagonal to Family Dollar besides the white church on Winter Street.
Visit the Sharing Den of Rewild Maine on Sheridan Street in Portland. We'll be demonstrating basket weaving using invasive bittersweet vines and other materials, and showcasing a variety of small-scale place-based living skills, like processing acorns into flour and tanning raw animal hides into leather.
Come meet your favorite local Maine artists at The Lemont Block Collective. Our artists will be in residence to discuss their processes and you can shop all of their stunning works. An amazing opportunity to meet & greet with some of Maine's most beloved artists & makers!
