Galleria Gardella is a haven for handmade treasures including mixed media paintings, whimsical canvas sculptures, and guest artisans who create pottery, wreaths, wooden puzzles, cutting boards, lamps, baskets, clothing and signs. Greenville is on the shore of beautiful Moosehead Lake so this will make the perfect outing to visit our gallery and wander our region. Refreshments will be available throughout the weekend.

Join our community of creatives, support your local artists and get a head start on your holiday shopping all in one place. The MBA's Handmade Marketplace will be held on October 7th & 8th from 8-3 at Somerset Abbey, 98 Main Street, Madison, Maine 04950. Event is Rain or Shine and will be under the big top and inside the Abbey so the weather won't interfere with our fun!

Fiber Day

Bath Freight Shed 27 Commercial Street, Bath

Join us for the 9th annual Fiber Day at the Bath Freight Shed. Local fiber artists will be weaving, spinning, knitting, hand sewing, felting, and doing rope work, much like that used in Virginia's rigging. See techniques both modern and dating from the 17th century. Some artists will offer hands-on opportunities as well as demonstrations.

This is our 5th annual Penquis Valley HS Craft Fair (we missed 2 years due to COVID). Local craft and food artisans, artists, and authors, along with school clubs and community non-profits offer a variety of item. There is also a basket raffle and lunch options available. Proceeds from the event support student activities.

See handmade baskets, quilts, and furniture  at Downeastwoodart's studio in South Portland, Maine. 

Unique this year are baskets and quilts by Lorraine (a very skilled and active artist for 25 years).  On display (some at sale prices) will be a wide variety of recent and unique handmade baskets, quilts and furniture including chairs, tables, end tables, lamps, mirrors, and small boxes.

I provide woodworking education and design and build custom furniture for clients. 

This two-day event (part of the statewide Maine Craft Weekend) features answers to questions and demonstrations of woodworking skills, techniques, and methods.

A group of Bar Harbor artists and makers are coming together for a Pop Up Market as part of Maine Craft Weekend. Ann Jenkins will be selling a collection of sterling and mixed media jewelry. Mary Lyman will be selling her handmade BFF Dolls. Suzanne Norgang of The Wretched Briar will be selling her handfelted wool hats. Jeanne Seronde Perkins will be selling her collages in 3D: paper mache stars + other creatures embellished w/ hand painted papers. Karen Ressel of The Flowered Apron will be selling aprons, potholders and baby cloths. Karen's bakery will be open and fully stocked with delicious baked goods. Lucy Tracy will be selling cards and pine balsam bags. The Pop up Market will be open Saturday 10/7/2023 from 10am-3pm. Bakeshop opens at 8am. Rain date Sunday 10/27/23

Basketweaving Demonstrations

Monson Arts Gallery 8 Greenville Rd, Monson

I will be at the Maine Craft Weekend to demonstrate different types of basket weaving using a mold, without a mold and using a wooden base. Visitors may try weaving on the demonstration baskets or a small ornament. I will also have baskets for sale both outside and in the Gallery Store. I will be there from 10:00 am to 1:00PM each day.
