Fiber Day

Join us for the 8th annual Fiber Day at the Bath Freight Shed. Local fiber artists will be weaving, spinning, knitting, hand sewing, felting, and doing ropework much like that used in Virginia’s rigging. See techniques both modern and dating from the 17th century; a few have changed very little. Some artists will offer hands-on opportunities, as well as demonstrations. A special exhibit of textiles from the Highland Maya area of Chiapas, Mexico will also be on display.
