Come learn and watch blacksmithing demonstrations at the Maine Maritime Museum. Enjoy the 8th annual Fiber Day at the historic Bath Freight Shed. Experience the works of many mid-coast makers at the market at the Customs House while enjoying the scenic downtown area, with more galleries and shops to explore.

Fiber Day

Bath Freight Shed 27 Commercial Street, Bath, ME

Join us for the 9th annual Fiber Day at the Bath Freight Shed. Local fiber artists will be weaving, spinning, knitting, hand sewing, felting, and doing rope work, much like that used in Virginia's rigging. See techniques both modern and dating from the 17th century. Some artists will offer hands-on opportunities as well as demonstrations.

Bath Maker’s Market @ Bath Customs House

Historic Bath Customs House 1 front street, Bath

Join artisans from this region for the third annual Maker’s Market in front of the Historic Bath Custom House on Sunday, October 8th from 11-3 pm. Hand sewn leather bags, paintings, pottery, handwoven textiles, Maine grown flowers, wooden puzzles, and more. Come enjoy the live banjo and get some early holiday shopping done. Afterward, stroll down to the waterfront park or enjoy a meal at one of the restaurants in town. Family and dog friendly! October 3rd from 11-3 pm, across the street from Now You’re Cooking and Markings Gallery in Bath.
