We invite you to come visit our barn studio where we make our living making unique small batch metal utensils and tools, as well as larger architectural metal commissions such as furniture, small railings, and custom hardware. We will be glad to show demonstrations with torches, hand tools, and the few old industrial machines we use, and field any questions about the craft and life we’ve carved out in this field. We will also be having a special sale of our small metal wares, such as ebony & aluminum chopsticks, copper & brass spoons and ladles, sailor’s chart dividers of brass and stainless steel, cake servers, and boat builder’s bronze pocket bevels.

Tim Christensen and a handful of other potters will unbrick and unload the Salt kiln (Saturday at 10 am) and the Wood Kiln (Sunday at 10 am) visitors will be able to buy pots as they are unloaded, see the full range of work in a kiln, ask questions about wood and salt firing, and visit with the potters whose work was fired. A fun time for all! You never know what youll see when you open up a kiln. Come experience the thrill!

The two artists will be available to demonstrate and answer questions concerning the different aspects of the weavings, baskets, and pottery they produce. This gallery is home to Betsy Levine’s porcelain and stoneware pots, both wood-fired and soda-fired. The studio houses a bisque kiln, a gas-fired soda kiln, and throwing, hand-building and glazing facilities.
